My first love is acoustic jazz, but I got hooked on electronic music and the art form of blending music into a cohesive statement after stumbling into an underground club deep in Chicago. I started on 1200's with Chicago House, Detroit Techno, UK Acid House, and Techno Industrial at clubs, parties and guest shots on FM radio in the midwest.
Tried CD players briefly, never could get the hang of them - I like the hands on feel of vinyl. But I'm 100% digital (computer based) now, which allows me a lot more creative freedom and faster access to new music.

Influences: My mentor, NYC's DJ Ray Velasquez, Sasha and John Digweed for turning me on to progressive house, and Eve Falcon, who inspired me to start mixing again after a long hiatus.
