Heinz (Karl Hynes) has been making noise of one kind or another for most of his life. Having gone through the usual rites of passage in a procession of no hope(well not strictly true but nevertheless dead end) punk bands in the early 90s, he took up Djing in 1997 & currently djs under the "Heinz" moniker although sometimes appears as Dj KLASH. Since then he’s played Whelan’s, The Music Centre, Solas, The Gingerman, Voodoo lounge, Sugar Club and not forgettting his long running "intergalactic" residency in Eamonn Dorans.Thursday nights are where he shakes his mashed up punk/funk/hip-hop/soul party groove.oh yes , He’s eclectic; anything that ends up in his bag stands a chance of getting played,& we do mean anything from Abba to Zappa. Along the way he‘s been making his own music, albeit on cheap & nasty equipment,currently working on his own material as well as various collaborations & remix projects(using his various aliases!!) one thing is certain he is always in search of the groove.We think he's found it..
