I started to get interested in mixing music from an early age of about 16 when i used to listen to Stu Allen every Sat night and record just the tunes i liked. I always used to pay attention to mixes in sets and got a buzz out of it so started to buy some kit. People thought i was mad as i was buying vinyl and headphones before i even had decks but i was determined and obsessed with everything to do with it.
My main passion started with Old Skool & Classic House. Favourite Old Skool Dj has to be Mike Stewart (Maximes Resident). His mixing is flawless and technical.
My music interrests now include Progressive House, Breakbeat & Electro.
I used to go and watch Dj's techniques when going out clubbing to see their style. Anyhow one thing lead to another and i've now been spinning and collecting for over 10 years.
Inspirations for me over the last decade have been Sasha, Digweed, Seaman, Hybrid, Trafik, Zabiela and Way Out West to name a few.
I feel a good DJ has good track selection and obviously good beat matching. However i like to try and put the cherry on the cake by producing mixes that are complimenting and professional.
Anyway as they say the proof is in the pudding so have a listen to my mixes and give me some feedback!
