Elder Meijning (El Funkador) was born and raised in Rotterdam, The netherlands. With his mother as a singer and his stepfather as a key player he grew up with lots of music around him. Elder always loved the drum and the bass. Especially when it's funky. At the age of 13 he found housemusic and when he turned 17 he started to spin some records with his friends and he got addicted to it. He has played in lots of clubs in Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Belgium and Turkey.
Now he spins everything that's funky and jazzy. Sinds 2006 he started to produce his own housemusic and almost everything he makes, you will find some jazzy influences.
