DJCJ, thanks for the input!! I agree about the amount of variation, I was aiming for more change in the 'musical' parts, versus the beat structure... so yes, it was intentional, but I totally know what you mean, and agree. There was certainly some contrasting parts, adding dissonance to the mix. The track was written to sum up a relationship, hence the blend of happy/melancholic parts. Thanks again for the time! I loved the chord progressions on this track, its mellow in a not so mellow way, very contrasting. I felt that it was a little to stagnant. It could have moved a little more, seemed to be a little too reptetive, unless thats what you were aiming for, more trance like. Its pretty solid though musically! Great job keep it up!
