Born and raised in Southern Ontario, Canada, Levon James moved to the United States at the age of 14. Throughout his teenage years, Levon lived in El Paso, Texas, where he was introduced to the underground dance music scene, frequently traveling across the Mexican border to Ciudad Juarez to attend events. At the age of 20, he moved to Detroit, Michigan, where he began listening to Techno, and the funky sounds of Chicago. Levon started learning how to beat match and began collecting records at the age of 21 after a friend sold him a broken down pair of numark turntables for $75. At the age of 24, Levon packed up and left the Detroit area for the boomtown of Las Vegas. Since then, Levon has developed his own unique and energetic style of DJing, encompassing House Music with a twist of Funk, Soul, Electro, Disco, Hip-Hop and Jazz. He is an avid fan of live music, often incorporating live instruments, percussion, vocals and on the fly sampling in his sets.

Style: House - House Music with a twist of Funk, Disco, Electro and Hip-Hop.
Influences: House music influences include Mark Farina, DJ Dan, Johnny Fiasco, Miguel Migs, Inland Knights, Joey Youngman, DJ Sneak, Fred Everything, Masters at Work, Daft Punk, and Derrick Carter. Other earlier influences include James Brown, Prince, Jackson 5, Parliament Funkadelics, Diggable Planets, Tribe Called Quest, Dr. Dre, and DJ Quik.
