Starting off as a hardcore DJ in 2004, Mistress Jade has been on the global psychedelic trance map since 2005, known not only for her positive full-on sets, but also for her energy behind the decks and crowd interaction.
Having been brought up around electronic music all of her life, Mistress Jade decided to pursue a musical education after high school. She graduated from the School of Audio Engineering in New York City in 2005 and obtained a diploma in audio technology, furthering both her love and knowledge of music. Also that year, a partnership was formed when Mistress Jade was noticed after the owner of Psylicious found her mixes through the DJ List. Her mixes instantly caught his attention and it wasn’t long until she was making her way across the Atlantic.
At only the age of 23, Mistress Jade has already performed at countless parties throughout the northeast and worldwide and has established a name for herself with a growing following of fans across the USA and internationally. From her international debut in the Netherlands in 2007 to her frequent trips to Canada over the past few years, she has rocked dance floors near and far - from London to Vancouver. She's played at clubs such as the legendary Fridge in London and Axis in Boston, where she opened for Infected Mushroom.
However, feeling as though she had been restricting herself to one specific genre and style, Mistress Jade began experimenting with different sounds in 2009, driven by her desire to express her musical interests to the fullest and to reach out to crowds beyond the psychedelic trance scene.
Mistress Jade's performances are both driving and melodic, often shifting moods several times during the course of a set through her intuitive selection of tracks. Always putting all of her love into her sets, both her broad taste in music and passion for DJing shine through when she is behind the decks.
Mistress Jade has recently been tearing up dance floors with her energy-packed multi genre sets, focusing primarily on the fusion of psychedelic trance and breaks. She has also built quite a name for herself in the world of chilled out sounds, known for blending together a mixture of cool downtempo beats, world fusion, and more recently, dubstep…yet again exposing her diverse talent and the constant evolution of her sound.
