Michael Ophime has built a reputation as successful promoter and crowd pleaser. Influenced by the Chicago house scene his initial events appearing in the Midwest set him apart for other local promoters. With theatrical themes and great headliners he quickly became a local favorite among party goers. In 1992 He assisted with the opening of the Underground pioneering the first electronic music venue in Madison, Wisconsin. This paved the way for a new generation of electronically influenced clubs to follow.
20 years ago he started to Dj and promote a number of pivotal events taking part in the Electronic dance music culture starting in Madison, Wisconsin in 1989. As an event promoter, Michael Ophime successfully promoted or assisted with over 60 events across the U.S. and Canada over the span of 20 years, while harnessing his DJ skills during these years he has performed alongside some of electronic music most pivotal artist.
2010 is going to be a great year for Michael with 11 new releases on the way keep your eyes on this artist coming to a venue near you
