"watertight" is simon lathams second solo album on icelands "airport route". the album spins from its progressive root and tips across an array of genre, featuring the whole width of what progressive can now offer and even adding a more alternative sound. with his history in uk band "soundsation" who featured on the original series of the renaissance compilations, signed to the most respected progressive label stress records they earned respect and play from some of the biggests djs of the day, including sasha, digweed, seaman, tong and many others. 2009 has been a busy year heading his own airport route recordings from his iceland base this englishman in iceland has even introduced us to the newest icelandic talent in his "audio 101: reykjavik" compilation, collaborating with respected musicians all over the world, including of course dj eco with "what do you see?" recently released on armadas sub-label s107 recordings, the ashley wallbridge remix causing alot of attention. be sure to take a listen! :)
