"s007ii - dj subRoutine has always kept an open mind to different types of music. His influences range from a wide variety of familiar Classical composers to modern Rock. He was into Classic Rock n' Roll at a time when most kids his age were still listening to bubblegum pop. In his early teens he was already exploring the pioneers of Punk, Heavy Metal, Underground Hardcore, and Industrial. When he developed a taste for EDM, it wasn't long before he was finally able to blend both styles of Classical music and Rock into the signature dark atmospheric sound he generates in his mixes where Tribal is at the core of all things accumulated. Fusing Progressive elements with House, Tech House, Techno, Electro, and Minimal, he has managed to build sets that do justice to the tunes of some of today's best underground EDM artists. s007ii is a classically trained musician and has been to the Trebas Institute of Recording Arts to learn about production. As a deejay he is exclusively digital. With advanced computer skills as a programmer and technician, he works with programs such as Ableton, MixMeister & Cubase4 while keeping in mind how to translate what he has done into live performances on the CDJs."

I'm from Toronto, Ontario, Canada and now living in Vancouver, British Columbia.

A mix should be a bit trippy, a little innovative, sometimes experimental, but ultimately fun to listen. I strive to make each one as entertaining as possible.

I've had extensive musical training in college a few years back at the Trebas Institute for the Recording Arts in Toronto and learned to play live using a pair of Pioneer CDJ-1000's with an Allen & Heath Xone mixer under the careful guidance of Canada's top turntablist: DJ Lee - TheVinylKiller (in Toronto) and DJ Leanne - GirlonWax (in Vancouver).

I use Ableton Live, MixMeister Fusion, Cubase4 and an Allen & Heath Xone 92 with 2 Pioneer CDJ-1000 MK3's. I also have an M-Audio Fast Track Pro and two Behringer Truth active studio monitors.

Progressive dance music, Progressive methods!
Not interested in debates over analog vs. digital; I'm the type who will take full advantage of technology for the best results. No rules, no regulations, no peer pressure. Just quality mixes by making use of, and combining the best of both worlds: deejay software and the CDJ decks.

Many of my sets have appeared on Stream-FM.com ("OverUnity", "British California", "0110ORGANIC", "magnetik resonance", "Masonic Temple", "Spiral Mechanics", "OEM", & "Slipstream"), ProgressiveHouse.com ("1010ORGANIC101" & "Spiral Mechanics"), Danceradio.gr ("Polymorphic"), Stellar Music Digital Podcast ("p0siit70n"), Jack2it [DRM Radio] ("Session IX, II", "British California", "magnetik resonance", "Masonic Temple", "OEM", & "Slipstream") and RK2 ("Masonic Temple", "Slipstream" & "Free Radicals"). A guest mix for DJ Kira's The Genre Show on Friskyradio.com is in the works for August 22, 2008, and also a guest mix for Shamanah's FEEL Ableton show on Friskyradio.com for September 2, 2008. Appeared live at Cepticon: Atchelitz Hall Chilliwack, B.C., July 12, 2008 for a 3hr set.

Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to download and/or play and rate them.

And please take the time to check out the DJs below if you haven't already.
